Council of Cathlic Women
The Council of Catholic Women is an affiliate of the Archdiocesan Council of Catholic Women. The Council, which is referred to as the CCW, is an inclusive community of Cathoic Women who are unified by common faith in Jesus Christ, inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit. The Council affirms every woman's unique gifts and talents and provides opportunities for their use in areas of spirituality and service.
The CCW's structure is by a Commission system. The Church Commission includes the Liturgy, Baptism, Ecumenical, Our Lady's Volunteers and Wake and Funeral Committees. CCW actively participates in the Annual World Day of Prayer in conjunction with other Norwood Park Churches. Family Concerns Commission works directly with the IC Girls Scouts as their sponsoring organization. Attendance at First Saturday Mass and Rosary with the Girls Scouts is encouraged. Community Concerns Commission focuses on homeless shelters, the needy and the USO. International Concerns Commission responds to the needs of the international society: sponsorship of a child in Guatemala, Esperanca, Water for Life, and the Passionist Missionaries. The Organization Commission serves the entire organization through Program, Publicity, Membership, Hospitality, Social and Ways and Means Committes.
The Council of Cathoic Women meets on the fourth Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Rectory Assembly. The CCW welcomes women of all ages. There are five meetings from September through April. The CCW is also affiliated with the National Council of Catholic Women and the World Union of Catholic Women's Organizations.

Holy Name Men's Club
One of the long standing organizations of Immaculate Conception Parish, the Holy Name - Men's Club, combines the social and educational feature of men's club with the spiritual basis of the Holy Name Society. Members are encouraged to observe the practices of the Holy Name Society, which include frequent reception of the Eucharist and group Masses. Sunday mass for members and their families is celebrated several times during the year, with a breakfast social hour folloing each liturgy. Members make a special effort to pay a visit when one of theirs is hospitalized, and attend wake services for the deceased from the Holy Name.
During the year the Men's Club holds several fund raisers, including: dances, a golf outing, field trips, etc. In addition, by sponsoring a parish Booster Club, they are able to contribute to athletic programs of the parish. Other organizations that look to the Holy Name for financial assistance are the Altar Servers and Boy Scouts. Also, as the need arises, the club makes as hoc donations to the parish and annually provides four scholarships for Immaculate Conception School through its association with the altar servers.
All the men from the parish are welcome to join this fine organization that has been a vibrant part of Immaculate Conception history.

Seniors Club
The Immaculate Conception Seniors Club gives the older members of the parish the opportunity to enjoy each other's company, to lend a helping hand, and to show concern for each other. The seniors strive also to cooperate in all parish activities. They hold a meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 12:00noon in the Rectory Assembly. This is a short business meeting and occassionally a guest speaker is invited to give information vital to senior citizens. These meetings are always followed by an afternoon of lively conversation, games, cards and refreshments. Senior Club members organize day-trips to lunches & shows, museums or special places of interest.
