Parish Choir The Parish Choir is the primary musical leadership for Masses, Feast Days and celebrations at Immaculate Conception. Comprised of 40 singers of all ages, the Parish Choir sings every Sunday morning from the beginning of October through the end of May. I.C. Parish has a long tradition of good singing and good choirs. Be a part of that tradition. All singers of high school age and up are welcome. We sing a variety of music from the classical choral repertoire to gospel, spirituals, contemporary and world music. We come from all walks of life with a desire to serve God and our church through music. No experience is necessary and there are no auditions for membership in the Parish Choir. Rehearsals are held on Thursdays, in church, from 7:30pm 9:00pm.

Overtones English Handbell Choir The Overtones enhance liturgical worship at weekend masses and special celebrations. We utilize the parish’s three-octave set of Schulmerich English Handbells as well as three octaves of Malmark choir chimes to ring glorious praise. The Overtones have always been an ambitious choir and seek to not only explore the common repertoire of handbell solo music, but also arrangements of hymns and settings of the Mass. The choir particularly enjoys exploring the use of various handbell playing techniques to energize and add excitement to their presentations. We welcome new members. If you can read basic music notation and enjoy making music with others, we’d love to have you join us! Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, in church, from 7:00pm 8:30pm.

Liturgical Dance The Agapé Dancers bring the ancient tradition of dance into our contemporary worship. Dancing at a variety of Sunday liturgies to the accompaniment of different choirs, the dancers express faith and reverence through movement. Training and practicing weekly, the group members strive to expand their technique and spiritual expression. Dancers of elementary school age are welcome to join. Members participate for the full school year once they join. Practice last for 90 minutes once a week. The day and time are established in September.
