Go and Make Disciples Evangelization
The “Go and Make Disciples” is dedicated to building up the Church in our everyday lives. Our objective is to sow seeds through all we do and say, praying that God will make the seeds grow, drawing all of his children back to the Catholic Church.
Our efforts have included organizing a parish group photo that has become the cover of the welcoming card to IC. It is now being used to invite all residents of our neighborhood to the parish. The card includes Mass schedules and various organizations and activities. On the first Sunday of each month we promote spiritual reading for youth and adults through the Lending Library Cart. This spring we had our first welcoming party for those who joined the Catholic Church through the RCIA.
In the fall of 2006 the GMD and the Block Captains will work toward creating a map of the neighborhood. This will become a key evangelization tool in launching our outreach program. We will encourage person-to-person visits with our neighbors, by making phone calls and going door to door. The goal is to invite our neighbors to join Immaculate Conception Parish or the church of their choice.

Pro-Life Committee
The committee's mission is to promote and foster, through education and action, the intrinsic value of all human life from "conception to natural death." The committee sponsors the Blessing of Expectant Mothers, Outdoor Rosaries and the parish blood drives. A Mass and Holy Hour for Life is celebrated in January in reparation for abortion. School children are invited to submit posters and essays regarding Respect for All Human Life. The committee meets monthly on a flexible schedule.

Ministry of Care
At times some of our parishioners are unable to join us for Sunday Mass due to health reasons. We have trained parishioners who are able to visit the homebound with the Eucharist. In this way our homebound are connected with the rest of the parish community. The homebound can be those who are recuperating from a hospital stay, or those unable to get to church on a Sunday. The ministers visit on an agreed upon day between the homebound and themselves.
