Minister of the Word: Lector
The proclamation of the Word is an integral part of the liturgy. The community's faith is enriched by the witness of more than once reader; for proclaiming the Word of God is an act of faith in Him who is the Word of God made flesh. Ministers of the Word love the bible. They read it privately, join Bible study groups, and are eager to share with others the riches they have discovered. They have strong clear voices, and are willing to stand before and assembly of believers and proclaim God's Word.

Minister of the Bread and Cup
The Mass is a sacremental meal. Those who serve the holy food are like table waiters who really enjoy serving food to others. Deeply convinced of the real prescence of Jesus Christ in the bread and wine, these ministers of the bread and cup convey their appreciation of this great gift to each believer who comes forward to receive it. With deliberate words and gestures, the ministers give the sacred food for life to each individual.

Usher
Immaculate Conception parish enjoys the service of women and men who devote their time and talents to welcoming parishioners to the Sunday Masses and Masses for special celebrations. The ushers pass the collection baskets, facilitate the movement of the congregation at Communion time, and distribute the parish bulletins. New ushers are always needed
