Religious Education

Classes meet on Wednesday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 PM in the school. It is important that your student attends class regularly and is on time for class. The children enter through the front doors of the school building.

Sacramental Programs
** Immaculate Conception Parish Policy states that students must attend religious education classes in grades one and two to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion in grade 2.
Students must attend religious education classes in grades six and seven to receive the sacrament of Confirmation in grade 8. All course requirements must be met. Regular attendance is expected.

Parental Involvement

We are here to assist you in the formal religious education of your child. It is, however, essential that development and practice of faith be a part of your home life. Help your child learn his/her prayers. Ask about and review the week’s lesson with your child. Be sure your child has his/her folder and necessary materials and that he/she has used the bathroom before class begins. Please take your children to Church on Sunday and become active in all that Immaculate Conception Parish has to offer. One hour on Wednesday does not take the place of daily example of faith in the home.
